山西省招生考试管理中心消息，2011年山西高考招生外语口试6月29日-30日报到，6月30日-7月2日进行口试。

报到地点为山西大学外语学院新教学楼（从太原五一广场乘103路电车在山西大学新校门下车）；考生口试时需持本人《准考证》、《居民》（无者，应持当地公安机关出具的带有本人相片的制式户籍证明），逾期不予口试。

报考外语专业或招生院校要求"外语口试"专业的考生均须参加外语口试，未参加外语口试或口试不合格者，招生院校不予录取。

外语系应该都看英语成绩吧，听力虽然作为参考，山西各市的硬件设施不同，有的学校条件不好，那听力自然受到影响，所以听力应该不太碍事。但是口语考试却非常重要，这几天多练习练习，成效还是蛮大的。

高考外语口试考什么

外语口试指的是考生参加高考所报语种的口语测试，一般在高考后进行。报考对外经贸、外语类等专业时，高校除了要求外语成绩达到一定的分数，还要求口语成绩达到一定的水平。不过，各地评定办法不尽相同，有的只有合格与不合格两项，有的设有优、良、合格和不合格等多级。

外语口试主要是针对于语言类专业而设置的。除了英语专业和其他小语种专业的院校，国际贸易和对知外汉语专业需要，其他基本都用不到。不过建议最好考一下，基本都能过的，而且填报志愿时也有可能用得到。

外语口试的主要目的是检测考生是否具有学习外语专业或相关专业的潜能，满足高校外语类专业或涉外专业准确选拔适合培养人才的需要。外语口试成绩不计入考生高考总分，仅供高校相关专业录取时参考。

考试内容：

外语口试用多位老师进行面试的形式，考生提前几分钟抽题并准备。考试试题分两个部分：短文朗读和即兴问答。

第一：朗读一篇150字左右的小短文，考生应该复习并朗读一下所学课文，最好能跟上课文的录音进行朗读，注意语音、语调和停顿。

第二：回答问题：由一考官负责提问，就日常生活、校园生活，简单的社会问题等方面提出一个可供考生自由发挥的话题，即OPENQUESTION，要求考生在两分钟之内，用几句话做一个简短的口头小作文，目的是考察考生英语的口头表达能力。（注意：短文内容往往是考生所熟悉的，建议将所学过的课文好好的读一读）考生应流利回答，历年的口试问题大同小异，考生可以提前模拟回答。

考生在进入考室后会有三篇备考的篇章，考生选其一来朗读，有时考官会让考生读完整篇，有时考官只听到一部分就会让考生停止，这不代表好或者不好；然后考官会提问，最多三到五个问题，有时可能一个或两个，但一般是三个问题。
