新高考英语听力共有两次考试机会，满分均为30分，取两次成绩的高值为最终成绩。

外语听力考试开考前15分钟后禁止考生入场，即第一次听力考试8：45后不允许迟到考生进入考场参加本次考试，第二次听力考试9：40后不允许迟到考生进入考场考试。若考生第一次听力考试迟到，只能于第一次听力考试结束后至9：40，经两次安检后入场参加第二次听力考试。

第一次考试后有大约三分钟的时间涂答题卡，注意不要忘记或者因没有掌握好时间而未填涂完成。

9:40。监考员收第一次考试答题卡及试卷，清点无误后分别装入第一次考试答题卡、试卷袋。

10:30。监考员乙收第二次考试答题卡及试卷，清点无误后分别装入第二次考试答题卡、试卷袋。考生离场。

外语考试使用教育部考试中心统一命制的含有听力的试卷其中笔试部分120分，听力部分30分，考生听力部分的测试成绩不计入总分，作为单列的一项成绩在投档时提供给高校参考。

高考全称：普通高等学校招生全国统一考试，是中华人民共和国，不包括香港特别行政区、澳门特别行政区和台湾省普通高等学校的招生考试，是由普通高中毕业生和具有同等学力的考生参加的选拔性考试。普通高考于每年的6月7、8日举行，部分地区因其科目安排而将考试延长至6月9日。

2014年，江西省根据国家高考招生制度改革的文件，作出以下改革决定：

从2015年起，江西省普通高考统考科目仍然为语文、数学、外语、文科综合或理科综合，即所谓的“3+X”，但将统一使用教育部考试中心命制的全国命题卷，不再进行江西省语文、数学、英语科目的自行命题。报考高职(专科)层次的技术科目和“三校生”对口招生的考试科目仍由江西省单独命题。

“外语一年两考”和“高考不分文理科”等项改革，要从2017年入校的高一新生开始实施。英语高考仍用全国课标卷，总分150，其中听力为30分。
